he Search Engine Marketing Management course has been developed with industry experts including PushON, one of the region’s leading search engine marketing companies, and offers practical guidance on how to get the most out of search engines and marketing.
By improving their position on search engine pages such as Google, MSN and Yahoo, businesses can create more interest in their websites. This can also generate new enquiries and sales and lead to less money being spent on external consultants.
The next intake is in December and applicants can book a place online. The fee is £500, but the Business Link's ‘Train to Gain’ scheme can help with this cost. The main investment is the participant’s time.
Aleksej Heinze of the Salford Business School said: “In this tough economic climate our course can make all the difference. A better search engine ranking can lead to significantly more sales and help businesses to buck the recession.”
