New: ABS Action Points from Executive Meetings

ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEENTH MEETING, THURSDAY 24 JUNE 2010

At the 24 June 2010 ABS Executive Committee Prof. Huw Morris has agreed to continue as chair until the AGM as the Chair Elect, Prof. Paul Croney, has been temporarily appointed to a Pro-Vice Chancellor role. At this point we will review the situation and elect a new chair if necessary. Angus Laing was elected Vice Chair. Policy / position papers are to be delayed until the autumn to include research collaborations that are currently ongoing. Case studies will be sought for ‘Pillars of the Economy’ as in previous years. An interim policy statement is to be drafted for immediate lobbying purposes. The first version of the ABS ethics guide is to be launched at the AGM.
